Ecumenical Foundation for the Protection of the Exceptional (FEPE in Portuguese) is a non-profit institution that since 1959 has been active in the areas of prevention, health, specialized care and social assistance to people with intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. The organization has extensively been carrying out Newborn Screening Tests in Brazil.
